Performing both as a tenor and countertenor, Timothy P. Faatz performs professionally locally and abroad. He has been involved in a variety of Twin Cities-based ensembles including the Apollo Male Chorus, the Apollo Master Chorale, Bach Society of Minnesota, the Cathedral Choir at the Cathedral of Saint Paul, Chorus Polaris, Consortium Carissimi, East Central Minnesota Chorale, ELM Ensemble, Evangelion Chorale, Minnesota Chorale, and the Prodigals Quartet. He recently held the Alto Section Leader position in the Schola Cantorum and sang in the St. Helena Singers at the Church of the Holy Cross in Minneapolis, MN. He currently cantors for over a dozen parishes and synagogues around the Twin Cities.

Additionally, Faatz is in demand as a guest soloist for oratorio, opera, and concert performances throughout North America and Europe, performing with pillars of Early Music, such as Dame Emma Kirkby. Works he has frequently performed consist of Bach Christmas Oratorio, Bernstein Chichester Psalms, Duruflé Requiem, Handel Messiah, Orff Carmina Burana, Pärt and Pergolesi Stabat Mater, Schubert Lieder, and dozens of works by Vivaldi.

Faatz studied Applied Vocal Performance at Bethel University, and studied with Dr. RubyAnn Poulson (Bethel), Dr. Shari Anderson (NYC), and Leah Frey-Rabine (Germany).
