Countertenor
Timothy P. Faatz is an ardent musician, performing professionally both locally and abroad. He is involved in a variety of Twin Cities based ensembles, including the Hope Gospel Trio; Evangelion Chorale; East Central Minnesota Chorale and the Cathedral Choir at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.
Additionally, Faatz has performed as a guest soloist for oratorio, opera and concert performances in the United States and across Europe. Works he has performed consist of Vivaldi's
Gloria, Handel’s
Messiah, both Pergolesi’s & Vivaldi’s
Stabat Mater, Mozart’s
Coronation Mass, Durufle’s
Requiem, Bernstein’s
Chichester Psalms, Victoria’s
Officium Defuntorum and Schubert's Magnificat.
Critics have praised his work stating, “He [Faatz] adds a luster and stability to the alto section that makes the entire choir sound richer,” and that “he is a singer to watch, for he has enormous potential.”

Faatz is a student of Dr. RubyAnn Poulson and was the vocal winner in the 2007 Performance Prize Competition at Bethel University. During the fall of 2007, he took third place in the Advanced Undergraduate Men’s Division of the state National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition.
Beyond his performance schedule, Faatz is the General Manager of the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra in Bloomington, MN.
